Educational Ministries

Sunday School

The primary aim of the Sunday School is to offer religious instruction to all ages from infancy through adulthood.  This is done through evangelism and teaching.  The Sunday School serves as both the Evangelistic and teaching arms of the church.  Evangelism is the arm that extends beyond the local church into the community to reach individuals and families; while teaching is the arm that embraces the children and adults of the local congregation keeping them from straying away by instructing them in God's Word (II Tim. 2:15).

Baptist Training Union

The Ministry of the Baptist Training Union is to assists members of the congregation in discovering, recruiting and training new church leaders in order to enhance church membership and strengthen church workers.   It is the goal of the BTU to develop and promote Christian growth in the life of new converts through continuing orientation.   This goal is accomplished through motivating present membership and leadership to utilize their gifts and to grow spiritually; to the glory and praise of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
